Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there a possibility for the class not just to be geography as in the example but the class code including year group and class identifier?
A: Unfortunately as of now only the Subject name shows in My Interview in Teachers view but we can see if this is something that can be done in the future.
Q: Is there a way for both parents who have shared custody to get the PTI invitation? One parent is Y in the system and one is N?
A: The way we input this is that only one parent is the 'main' custodial parent and any additional families have a non-custodial link to the child. The parents won't know who was the 'main' custodial parent and it has no other impact on their interviews access.
Q: Where can I get the template for family data?
A: In order to get the family data template please go to Admin>Family data>Import CSV>In the Upload tab, click on the format text to see the template
Q: What is TBD stand for and is there any available the instructions Parents need to go through to make their bookings that we can use?
A: TBD stands for To Be Decided, Please refer to this link in which you can share with the parents on how to book their Interviews

Q: We want to use the PTI module for our primary which is not timetable linked, but also use it for secondary which is timetable linked?
A: Teachers can't be imported as they must come from a timetable file. It would be fine to add them into the secondary file without being assigned classes, Timetable Interviews will be able to pick up these primary teachers that way. Students can then be imported in the Interview Event, Refer here
Import students and custom classes can be made to tie the teachers to the imported students, Refer here Creating Custom Classes.
Q: If hosting some single (Secondary) and some double (Primary) sessions, can the double session show as one block rather than two? Also can it lock the double sessions so singles are not left... i.e. You have 4 blocks available and parent selects 2&3 leaving 1 & 4 useless
A: Unfortunately this is not a function that Interview has.
Q: Is Interviews an extra schools have to pay for or is this included in existing packages?
A: We are changing our packages for renewals where all modules will be included, please contact our Sales team at customer.supportau@tes.com
