Rollover

      Q: If we have a 2025 code already (after using Timetable Choice for electives) is this still valid or do I need to do it again?
      A: It is still valid. You will not require to generate another 2025 WebCode

      Q: Can you have both a 2024 and 2025 Timetable Daily going at the same time (now) using different codes? 
      A: Yes

      Q: Why does my admin/settings in Edval Daily only showing 'Roll over 2023 settings' even though I am in my 2024 file?
      A: You will see 2024 when you are in 2025 dataset. You need to be in Next year data to see the previous data to rollover.

      Q: Do I have to sync my 2025 timetable file in order to rollover my Daily now, my 2025 timetable file is not complete yet. 
      A: Yes the rollover requirement in Daily is that the timetable must be synced to Daily first, you can go ahead sync your 2025 file even it is not completed yet. You can later sync it again once finalised. 

      Q: How do we get into the 2025 data set?
      A: You can get into your 2025 by either having a 2025 WebCode you can do a 'switch year' by clicking on your login at the top right corner and choose 2025
            

      Q: Can I rollover before the end of a semester or mid term?
      A: Yes you can rollover when ever you want to as long as you have a 2025 etz file. 

Date mapping and Other Setting

      Q: Can date mapping be done before synching the 2025 etz file?

      Q: Is there a way to change the credit cover for a period? 
      A: Yes you can change credit cover in Daily>Settings>Cover Credit, Please refer here for the knowledge base document. Edval Daily: Cover Credit

User Management

      Q: We haven't used room booking before and only have a few teachers with access to Timetable Daily. How do we set up room booking for all staff? And what else will they see on Timetable Daily can it be                      restricted to room booking?
      A: A new role can be created in Admin --> Roles and permissions can be restricted depending upon what the school wants; this role should then be given to all staff.       Q: Can Inactive staff be deleted?
      A: When you rollover to 2024 any Inactive teachers will not Migrate. Please refer here for the knowledge base document regarding Inactive staff. Inactive Teachers and Deleting Records

      Q: In relation to the users and deleting them, does the historical data only relate to the current year or past years also?
      A: It will only relate to the the current year data 

      Q: How can a part time teacher be marked as casual during the non timetabled days?
      A: In Admin>Users>edit the user there is a Option called 'Part-time casual'. Please refer here for the knowledge base document regarding Part time teachers. - Users: Creating Casual and Admin Staff

Syncing your data to Daily

      Q: Can you have the new TT file synced with Edval Daily 2025, and the current TT file synced with Edval Daily 2024?
      A: Yes you can: 2024 and 2025 Daily are separate areas so as long as you have the right academic year set in Setup > School Info, then it will sync to the respective year when you run it. Please refer here for the              knowledge base documentUploading Timetable Data from Edval 10 to Edval Web Server

      Q: Why is the Edval Webserver sync is greyed out?
